JINGEMIA-1 EXTENDED PRODUCTION TEST - UPDATE
Voyager Energy Limited advises that the Jingemia-1 well has been, since Tuesday, 27 May flowing approximately 40 API oil without water through a one inch choke at rates between 1850 and 1900 barrels a day.
The extended production test (EPT) of the Jingemia-1 well is planned to continue for another two months. After flowing the well for a week at the current one inch choke size, a one week shut in is programmed. Following this it is planned to reopen the well and flow it through a one inch choke for the remainder of the test period.
The objective of the EPT is to acquire information on reservoir performance over a 3-month period before finalising plans for full field development. Production rates can be expected to vary throughout the test period.
Oil produced is being trucked to and sold at the BP oil refinery at Kwinana south of Perth.
