ArtistPete, the positive feedback loop explanation has occured to me but I'll say this - having watched PAA closely since mid 2014 and having made my first investment in the early months of 2015, and having watched the MPL project being derisked esp over the last couple of years (remember Pitney brought 3 projects into PAA, of which two were then suspended in favour of MPL), I believe that the intellectual property accumulated by PAA in that time makes it worth more than it is currently. I think the real problem is that would be investors have had a hard time getting their heads around what PAA is about, how all its pieces fit together, and I also think that there is a hangover from PAA's disappointments pre the merger with Pitney in 2013. I think the WEHI collaboration is changing the wider perception about PAA. And even if this surprise covid project doesn't lead anywhere, this has made a lot of people suddenly aware that this new mTOR inhibitor has god only knows what potentials. I'm guessing that this is what the chartists picked up. Just my opinion and dyor. Be sensible. Always. Cheers.
