It's like adopting a dog from a shop vs adopting the last dog at the animal shelter that no one wanted. You buy the dog from the shop for a good amount of money. You have some good times, dog is healthy and eventually passes away.

But unfortunately for us we adopted the last dog from the animal shelter on the cheap. In the beginning we just kept throwing money at it trying to keep it alive at the VET. The VET tells you the dog is on it's last legs after throwing so much money at it over the years and has a month to live.

The dog looks miserable everyday and out lives the month it was expected to live. Now here we are 12 months later wondering when this dog we bought on the cheap is going to die.
