The new calibrated satellite data actually used GISS Monthly surface data to calibrate their satellite data. Figure that out.
But better still RSS actually now EXCLUDE for the FIRST time ever ANTARCTICA from it GLOBAL dataset. Go and figure that one out.
The ONLY place in the globe that is not disputed where it is cooling!

So lets see how the NEW homogenised GLOBAL satellite data set compares to mjp's supposed reference to the over cooked GISS
A best fit approach to the early data up to the year 2000. After 2000 the GISS homogenised surface temps outpaced the troposphere by a factor of way too much.
Any kid with a IQ of greater than 10 knows that this is impossible!!!!!!!!!
And to make it worse dont't forget that part of the globe that has been known to be cooling the most is the ANARCTICA which has been conveniently been removed from the global satellite dataset. LOL what a joke.
