Tristanc you used different altitudes from the ONE and only RSS dataset in C10,25 etc
Or perhaps even RATPAC in 100mb 70mb, after that you are really drifting away from RSS as a comparison in my opinion. But that is another story that is probably not really a biggie!
So lets ignore what RSS, The IPCC , NOAA WMO. Cannot recall if I have posted ththe WMO yet. But have it here somewhere as another for later)
Your analogy is now equated to me using 5 different GISS monthly temps fr a give city and calling them a dataset!

Anyway you used 20 years off data which is 2/3rd of one "climate period" as defined by the World Meteorological Organisation!
