Let me clear that I hold no brief for the Catholic church or any other, although I do have great respect for the Christian heritage as part of western civilisation, which I regard as streets ahead of any other.

But I wonder is this going to turn out to be another Dreyfus case - a conviction based on what he is rather than what he may have done.

What I found unacceptable being one mans evidence against anothers is the terrible comments made by the judge.
I feel based on the lack of evidence he will be found not guilty in the appeal.
Just bad that our toxic press here judge based on their own hatred of the Catholic Church
The Inquisition of Spain and Portugal comes to mind, but in reverse
