    Looking at foreign media in the past couple of days it's hard to escape the fact that there is a fair bit of skepticism about our court process in this case.

    I haven't seen as much or any questioning in the local media but then what media do we have? And isn't it mostly a rabid anti -church media anyway.

    Let me clear that I hold no brief for the Catholic church or any other, although I do have great respect for the Christian heritage as part of western civilisation, which I regard as streets ahead of any other.

    But I wonder is this going to turn out to be another Dreyfus case - a conviction based on what he is rather than what he may have done.
