That is the time when they get to raise objections. But they don't control both houses so the objections will be symbolic.
From my reading they are objecting to rule changes that made voting easier, (made easier to be covid safe) but the changes made without always following local laws.
Judges have already ruled that they had ample time to object before the election where voters voted in good faith folowing election officials guidance. Also that the R's claiming injury are asking way too much in compensation. For example wanting to cancel thousands of votes instead of allowing a handful of rejected votes. Because they are really complaining about having lost.
