The Pending Nuclear ‘Special Military Operation.’

The question on everyone’s lips is, will Vladimir Putin resort to using nuclear weapons? But an even more pressing question is, what will be the world’s response?
My answer to the first is a very strong, yes. This is because not only of the present tactics that the Russian military are using that point towards this disastrous outcome, but more importantly, that Putin’s egomaniacal personality is primed for it.
The tactics in question are the evacuation of Russian citizens and sympathizers from the occupied Ukrainian territories, the recent annexation of the occupied territories, giving to Putin his ‘right’ under Russia’s constitution to use nuclear weapons to save ‘Russian territory,’ and as of today, Russia’s allegation that Ukraine is preparing a dirty bomb to ‘set-up’ Russia for their forthcoming nuclear attack; or the typical red-flag event that Russia has used on numerous occasions in this war.
All this of course would not be necessary if Ukraine was not winning back so quickly their occupied territories, which leads us to the most important point in this analysis of Putin’s pending nuclear war. Putin’s ego does not sit well with the thought of losing the ‘special military operation,’ not to mention that this outcome would be the catalyst for his downfall. As such, he will not hesitate in using tactical nuclear weapons to halt the Ukrainian advance and try to save his personal position.
Here is a list of egomaniacal tendencies. As you read each one, consider them in relation to Putin and his Ukrainian war.
    • A big ego refuses to ask for help.
    • A big ego denies weakness.
    • A big ego declares that failure isn't an option.
    • A big ego hides mistakes.
    • A big ego insists on never quitting.
    • A big ego focuses on what others think.
    • A big ego denies pain.
The usage of nuclear weapons will certainly slow the Ukrainian advance, but it won’t stop the war, nor result in Russia winning. On the contrary, it will ensure Russia’s defeat. This is because a nuclear conflict, even if only small tactical nuclear weapons launched by Russia, will result in an even greater united international response, especially from NATO, which will bring them directly into conflict with the Russian army on Ukrainian territory.
The Russian defeat on all Ukrainian territory will occur once NATO enters the war using its formidable air power. It is unlikely that they will commit troops on the ground. But an aerial offensive by NATO will be sufficient to remove Russia from the Ukraine.
The question them left outstanding, is what will Russia’s response be to this pending defeat?
Hopefully by then, Putin’s demise will be guaranteed by his compatriots, finally instigated by his usage of tactical nuclear weapons in the Ukraine.
