Yes @Clanger, that is a real possibility, but if the business consultant (that received longer dated 7.5m options) was any good they would have this commercial partner wanting to reveal themselves immediately.
So if we are being told that "The" commercial partner is not signing until after the full green light is given from the FDA, then I agree with you, the options expire out of the money.
