Some comments made here suggest/implies that those using TA are some sort of 2nd rate individuals.
For the uninformed, TA is a valid and important tool to assist in picking entry and exit points.
In combination with FA, it has the potential to lower the investment risk and maximise the return.
If this was not so, why would fund managers and brokers be using FA/TA together with other advanced entry/exit tools such as algorithmic trading programs?
The latter is why it is not an even playing field for on-line retail investors, but FA & TA is available to anyone who cares to learn about the subjects. The alternative is to use a full service broker.
Be objective, don’t get emotionally attached and don't fall in love with a stock.
