I knew people who were born in the very early 1900s and their view (before all this climate change) was that we all got spoilt during the 50s and 60s into thinking that good rainfall was the go.Except for the aforementioned years ,they could only remember drought followed by drought.Right out west of Dirrimbandi the dust storms used to bury the fences regularly.One of my uncles was seven when he encountered his first big rain storm and was terrified by it.All the talk about the last 150 years is like saying it is a drought because it hasn't rained in the last 10 minutes.
