The Plot Thickens

The RC will slowly go through all the players in AWU Fraud although the next stage of Police taking action is where it will get very interesting - a lot of players being named Footy.

The reason that Gillard lost support in the ALP was that all the main players knew of the Wilson fraud way back in the past - everyone thought it was dead and buried.

McClelland was the first to go - he knew the truth, Tanner knew as well, Crean also knew,Roxon knows probably more than most, Faulkner knew also - they all knew that once proof of the fraud appeared Gillard's time would be over.

She managed to shut it down for a long time but thanks to some very dogged hard work from Michael Smith & Co it was never going away and Labor knew Gillard had to go prior to the Election in case it got out.

Labor had no option other than to go back to Rudd as Gillard was damaged goods and had to be removed to give Labor any chance of winning the Election.
