After a mid life crisis and a radical career change I decided to train to become a registered nurse, despite Dino saying not a good idea.  Just being exposed to the crap devices (vanish point syringes, yes you are crap), wastage of medication (including me being a numpty while mixing a lyophilized antibiotic), wastage of time e.g. prepping & priming an IV and mixing a medication that goes into the IV and/or introducing the risk of infection if you dont use proper infection control processes when handling all the faffing equipment.  If you add up all the time nurses spend in the medication room faffing about preparing medications, that time spent in the medication room means less time time spent with the patient which in turn means suboptimal outcomes for patients.  Also being a relative noobie in the healthcare environment, I am gobsmacked by how many patients have type 2 diabetes and the time and resources managing it in the hospital setting it sucks up.

In an ideal world, I would go into the medication room to pick up a PFS or a patch pump or an imperium and thats it.  Back to the patient in a nano second.  Quick, no fuss.  My time training in the healthcare setting has given me a greater appreciation for Unilife's products - they are awesome and they deserve to succeed.  Alan motherhoods about better health outcomes but his idealistic boolshit is absolutely true.  Those benefit are real and tangible.  I appreciate the longs and shorts view of this stock.  Great products, horrible crap financials.  I think its a company that will be a massive long term success so long at they dont go bankrupt in the meantime.  This is where the Ra-Ra Squad and Hanktanson Squads have equally good arguments....
