Just out of curiosity, have you been to the west of Sydney?
I read that the west of Sydney had a police force just for Middle Eastern offenders. Maybe I shouldn't believe that too.
In regard to the police, they can't win. People love bashing them if they are alleged to be "heavy handed", they are criticised for "unfairly" targeting certain groups and then they get criticised for not doing their jobs.
However, the government and the police need to get tough on the west of Sydney. The criminal element of the west our going to slowly spread to the south west, which they have already done through areas like Hurstville and it is only a matter of time before they move in the Shire.
