The lower house majority should have the right to have this passed in the senate I have not heard a logical reason not to have a vote ,it is more about grandstanding by the Greens, Labor and the media rather than getting this out of the way and getting on with more important issues.
I think the public should have more votes on issues rather than less because of late there has government by the political class rather than the voters.
