I heard Richo recently say that years ago, Labor did not want Turnbull in the Labor Party. So why did the Liberals take him in?
Also, I haven't heard anything about Turnbull's 60 minutes interview in the media, talkback etc. I saw it as a pathetic false publicity stunt.
He is a man of constant hidden agendas, and the 3AW interview with Neil Mitchell basically sums up the man with his stumbling waffling when his advisers are not around, and He was far out of his comfort zone.
BTW, we all know that Abbott did not lose his leadership because he was a dud, he lost because the Turnbull faction, working with the UN needed to remove Abbott before the 2015 Paris climate change conference, because of Abbott's anti-global-warming views and his push back against plans to form a world government.
Therefore, bring back Tony!
