That sounds like someone who would rather have the dignity of any job, versus the dole.
I can't decide whether the government is deliberately ignoring the obvious, or pretending that its not happening.
Last night, I watched Bill Shorten interviewed on the ABC by Leigh Sales. She asked him a series of pertinent questions. In every case he went off at a tangent and talked about something else altogether. It was hard not to forget the question. She then just went on to the next question and he did the same, time and again.
I suspect that this is what is frustrating the public so much, the whole labor team is just ignoring reality, either deliberately, or perhaps they really are not listening. I don't know, but they do look ridiculous and totally out of touch.
