Informed in time for what, p.j? Do we shareholders want to know every little thing that happens in Jujuy, or just that which is material?
It is not a "broken pond" as you seem to think - shallow ponds don't collapse massive earth embankments... It is an outlet channel - it is not that hard to see that it has engineered sides - and it has suffered a bit of damage due to excess flow after a storm. It has already been inspected and cleared by the Mines Inspectorate. Not a matter of any great consequence.
