My understanding of the matter is the evaporation ponds had too much water relative to the surface area, hence the lower evaporation and inferred Li concentration levels. It seems that they have begun to rectify the problem already and will be back on track sooner than later. to get a better yield they need less brine in the ponds with more frequent up cycle rate . rookie mistake
