Ok thanks Funkyroski - so you're saying you don't think this is an everyday drainage hole, but rather a recently created, temporary drain created to specifically address the pond management issues the company has flagged? If that is the case, that would seem to make a lot more sense. otherwise, the hole looks way too big and shotty to be a standard part of the infrastructure.
