I'm not sure if this article is true, but I'm not surprised if it is. It seems that perhaps greed and the NPA, ironically two diametrically opposed idealogies, have combined to undermine SMI's plans for a port at Malalag. And, as I've suggested many times before - the EIS and approval process for the port and power station will also be quite an undertaking.
