To be fair, any of the brokers that I have worked/ consulted with over time have always been talking long term holds and seem to be mostly uninterested in short term fluctuations. I think this is especially relevant in todays world, given the online trading scenario that has emerged where day traders can operate at $15 a trade and have free access to a wide range of research material. Brokers have lost all that business. I also think its easy to forget that Price Targets are 12 month targets.
