Hi Mozz I always enjoy reading your comprehensive analysis, and look forward to many more over the journey with PAR. I am but a humble retiree who enjoys the varied and knowledgeable contributions on this thread. I hope to be able to contribute occasionally into the future.
I am not meaning to be critical, but for the sake of other PAR investors, I would like to point out that CSL has, in fact, had 3 share splits over their incredible journey. The first was June 2nd, 1993. They had a 2 for 1 share split. The second was January 16th 1997, again a 2 for 1 share split The third was March 20th 2007, again a 2 for 1 share split.
This effectively meant that anyone who invested at the listing (say 2000 shares), and continued to hold those shares, ended up with 16000 shares as of today. One of the great investment outcomes in Australia's history and certainly the greatest biotech result in our history. I, like you and other paradigmers, would love to see the same happen to our up and coming star. I firmly believe the potential is there, and I took the opportunity to double my holding when the SP retreated to sub $1.50.
We live in hope that the news flow over the next 12 months will be as positive as we think it will be, and the relevant authorities give our little aussie battling company the approvals to send it (and us) on its way to much higher valuations.
