I don't think a meaningful comparison with nearmap can be made...

I don't think a meaningful comparison with nearmap can be made here. I believe they have a forward PE around 100 (which means they make a profit unlike us - albeit small). Also their product is not patent protected like ours. Google do a similar paid thing in the USA and the only thing stopping them from rolling that out here is our market size doesn't support it.

Also I have used nearmap for years and they really screwed up the rollout from free to paid and put a lot of people off by not communicating the process properly and charging exorbitant amounts to some organisations. My father was part of the consultative group, and the model they went with was nothing like what they discussed with that group.

I have no intention of parking my hard earned there any time soon.
