I saw this saying of Rumi the other day and it reminded me of VPC. For anyone unfamiliar with Rumi he was a medieval Sufi mystic. Rumi understood the inner world. His sayings still resonant today. But I digress. In the last few weeks we have not seen too many sprouting leaves on the VPC tree. A few new client announcements but the operation is not yet in bloom. What we have learned though is that the personal for the east coast has been selected and are ready to go first thing in the new year. We have also learned that Leanne Graham and Amy Walker have been in Perth with VPC imparting wisdom and forming an attack plan that we would assume mirrors the path of Xero. These are the roots that are flourishing beneath the surface. The roots are thriving and active despite the fact the branches above the ground are still dormant. But when January comes it will be the season of blooming and the leaves will draw their energy from the well established root system. And, hopefully, we will see lush splashes of greenery quickly taking over and, hopefully, the tree will be heavily laden with the fruits we have patiently waited for.

Sorry to wax poetic but it did seem like a good metaphor to me.
