"While we think about how OZL earns its crust let's not forget that $1.2b x 8.5% = $102m pa in interest - not a bad little earner in the current environment"
Hi Lapdog absolutely that’s a lot $102m is a lot of money. I wonder how much of it will be really left by the time we pay dearly for extra entitlements the much bigger staff etc lol. Lapdog investors and traders are a funny bunch, all they interested in, is if a company is going to do well short to med term I will stick my neck out and even say most (not all) long term investors feel the same way, times are a changing no one wants to tire money up for years and see no or little return, they will move on. I can’t stress enough IMO how important it is for OXR to win over investor confidence that the company will move forward and grow its share price they need to jump and hit the floor running.
That’s what happened to zfx the bigger money moved on, and of course we all know why, their $1.2b did nothing to stop the down ski slope side the share price was on. I think this board has already covered how OXR (OZL) is going to move forward. The 1.2B we have at the end of the day is great to have make no mistake, but it will bear very little on the share price advancing, its what OXR do with it in the end, that will count. Lets be totally honest share price to us is everything.
Having that cup of tea with maybe the top 20 oxr investors may have bought about, a more informed decision.
Next time OXR make a HUGE major move, just maybe they will get the general consensus of the investment community, or at least the bigger end of town. The Management team have got to really put on there thinking caps, it will be totally unforgivable if oxr can’t get on top of this copy cat side, that zfx holders had to endure. enuf
Cheers
