Personally I subscribe to Occam's razor. The most likely explanation for the news delay, as some of us have said, is due to confidential negotiations and/or exactly what he's already told us - delays at the lab.

I'm not one for hugs or gold coins, and I certainly am displeased with communication of late, but I still support AP and believe he's hard at work for us all... one way or another this lull will soon come to an end and my bet is placed on which way it's going.
