I also work for a publicly listed company.
If we make a public comment or announcement, and fail to meet a commitment, the market speaks loudly - by punishing our share price. Yes, there is also negative commentary by analysts and media, questioning why we have failed. And yes, the negative comments extend to multiple social media platforms.
This is no different - RXL haven’t met a commitment and there are negative comments. Your analogy likening Alex Passmore to a coach is juvenile; his remuneration package is over $800K. He’s not a coach - he’s a well paid mining executive, and it’s perfectly reasonable that shareholders vent their frustration when he fails to deliver.
