Folks you might want to know something which is rather interesting.
The last two times lgl price went down close to $2 were in about Feb 10th 2006 and at that time gold closed in NY at $550.20 dollar was .7378 and gold is about 45% higher today and even dollar is about 10% higher
One before that was Nov 7th 2005 Gold closed in NY at $459.20 and the dollar was .7321 gold is about 70% higher now and dollar is about 10% higher.

NOW dollar was around .81 Gold still close to $800.00 LGL was $1.92
Ha ha that is the magic of market nothing makes sense.
So one very sure thing is sentiment yeah it has changed.
But fundamental at the end will rule over emotion.
