Create an extravagant feed in tariff, create a whole industry to flog solar installations with a locked up contractual basis etc, load costs of FIT onto non solar users, which just encourages more solar, more costs onto fewer non solar users ad infinitum.....until either the power generators go titsup or the consumer is well and truly squeezed. The power generators will not go under so who is left to pay up?
