An experienced miner suggested to me recently that the only people that make serious money out of open cut gold producers these days are their mining contractors.
cost increases are overwhelming the best of mine managers
my concern with NST would be that acquisitions like DEG look great on a spreadsheet, but wait for the surprises in stall for the first couple of years of commissioning and the reality of the cost profile.
NST has now lost its mojo and I have more faith in the leadership of groups like Genesis
