Thank you pistol08 on behalf of Dorothy the dinosaur may I bring to your attention the fact that Co2 levels were 7,000 ppm in her time ,we are still below 400ppm.

In the past 600 million years there have only been 3 periods when the Earths average temperature has been 12o Centigrade.
We are now living in one of these periods.
The rest of the time the temp has averaged 22oC.

480 million years ago before the Silurian periods Co2 had dropped from 7,000 ppm down to 4,000 ppm, this was over a time span of roughly 100 million years--the temperature stayed steady at 22oC.
What happened next is what is so interesting,Co2 levels rose sharply from 4,000 ppm to 4,500 ppm BUT world temperatures dropped to an average that matches today IE 12oC.

See what happened?.Co2 levels went UP but the temperature went DOWN.

There is much to learn yet, life is so interesting.
