The Premier has forecast "developments" on the Silica project.

He did this on the eve of announcing an election.

If he does not announce positive developments it will be seized upon by the opposition

If he does announce positive developments he will use it to vindicate his commitment to the heart and soul of the economic growth vision he has. He will do this when and if his economic managment is being questioned or compared to the opposition.

To put it bluntly - it will be political suicide not to follow through with a public statement made only two weeks ago.

IMO - its in the bag

Low volume exit = High volume steam roller upon return - there are 1million less bits of loose paper on the way out
