    Wait a minute, the Heartmate XVE which the article suggests is already outmoded is licenced.

    The Heartmate II, which is comparable to the VCR device, is only in phase I, essentially the same as VCR. Thurlow posted earlier that only 2 patients have been enrolled in the Heartmate trial.

    Doesn't this mean that VCR is more advanced?
