Solar panel dont die. There are no moving parts, they may lose efficiency over time. The SEGS solar farm in Mojava desert was installed in 1984 and still going strong after 40 years, they expanded it in 2014.As I said, my solar panels had warranty to guarantee at least 90% efficiency after 25 years. I'm guessing with technology improvements over last decade, they would've improved even more.
