I have probably spent as much time in China as anyone on HC.
All your points are relevant but obsolete at the same time.
China is indescribably big when I talk to other western folk who have spent a similiar amount of time there we are in common agreement that its unexplainable to folks that havnt been there.
Telling China to give back Tibet is like telling the US the give back Texas to the Mexicans, or Israel to the Palestinians
Whether we like it or not it doesn't matter, the next 100 years belongs to the Chinese, they will invade every corner of humanity. Just like the yanks did there culture will impact everyone of us.
and lets not pretend that the government has any control over the country, there is so much going on that nobody has the knowledge to possibly control it
Yes they will work together as one cohesive ethnic group, they do that everywhere they go
thats just the reality our opinions matter little to the physics of what is happening
