Akbo I have a different take on science and how the bible fits in and what the characters really are, and imo god may not be what religious people think,

For example it took him a week to create our world didn't it.

Why not nanoseconds? why not instant

Anyway, I think if hes coming back it has to be of significance. Science of the next hundred years will rival some of what religion promises. There is no point in talking about receiving eternal life etc, if we go ahead and invent it anyway.

If revelations is true it will be in the next 100-200 years, or not at all. Even from my non religious point of view, there is a probability we are headed for some sort of apocalypse in this time frame if we haven't sorted ourselves out. In time we can achieve anything described in the bible, however the hardest seems to be achieving peace. Science of the future can provide a solution, but if we have some sort of creator out there they might not think its that great of an idea and have to intervene, and its not like this being doesn't know where we are at.
