My concern with churches is this: if they are meant to convey truth, why do I not hear any of them preaching against the evils of usury? Usury leads to marriage breakups, physical abuse, in some instances, the absence of a father figure (for extended periods), drunkenness, etc. I could go on, it's slavery.
Why don't I hear them warning churchgoers of the dangers of pornography and those behind it, its submission by orgasm.
They could easily name the perpetrators of everything else, yet they choose not to and instead direct the blind sheep to believe that this evil is merely represented by a red man with two horns and a pointy tail.
Paul says not to have dealings with unbelievers; do the churches preach to their flock to rally their local members to stock the population explosion we've had in the last 10 years of about 10mil or more Hindus, Muslims etc ? isnt this worshipping other gods in our land?
