It was clear you were not @gerzensee, apologise that my post made you feel the need to reply. What I was trying was to apply the principles of group dynamics to the forum which as you stated has the added factor of anonymity and competing “camps”. Hence the use of the term pejorative to make it clear where I felt the term clown was referenced. The reason in a group with shared values, the clown is a welcome and integral role that is not an exclusive role and one to which we can all contribute.
For those Random people you refer to, my observations are that some are not Random at all, but part of a short attack. Either way, round here we would describe both types as Merchant Bankers.
