Service businesses are very productive. You have an Adam Smith view of production. If we're not all out in the fields or sweating in a noisy factory then we aren't productive!! Australia has a developed economy which means service businesses will become an increasingly important part of GDP eg banking, education, software and medical development, financial services etc.
Let ARI go to the wall. There's nothing special about digging up dirt and heating it up. Lots of countries can do that. Now when in comes to high tech services that's a different matter. Ask the Sudanese to research a better chemical therapy for colon cancer. I'd like to see that.
BTW I hold ARI and I wish they would just go away. It's an embarrassment to have to admit that I have held on to shares that have become almost worthless. It's like owning AGO or DSH. People think "what an idiot" and they'd be right.
