The Queensland chief health officer has doubled down on her controversial AstraZeneca advice.
Dr Jeanette Young previously said she did not want an 18-year-old to receive the vaccine due to the extremely small chance of it resulting in blood clots. It is a stark contrast to NSW who are urging all people to have a conversation with their doctor about the extremely small risks associated with the vaccine."I remain firm. If you look around the world, if they (young people) think they have a particular risk, immediately go and talk to their own doctor," she said."I said I didn't want 18-year-olds to have AstraZeneca. And I still don't."
Despite ATAGI 13 July statement, Dr Young continues to fly solo providing her 'advice' on vaccinations.
The fear mongering needs to stop.
