All bodes well for the business. Jason believes there to be ~$1b valuation gap between the CDC val and NextDC's, however I am struggling to understand on what metric they are using to compare value.
IMO I believe our stake in CDC will have a similar fate to Tilt Renewables, whereby a large deep pocketed infra investor will come knocking. We need a few larger transactions to filter through the market on this side of the world to help realise the value in the sector. Whilst majority of investors can see the usecase and projected growth for data centres, I believe many don't understand them and just think everything is saved on the "cloud" without realising the cloud has a base, it has a ground of data points.
Same goes for KAO, however I think that'll be more focussed on medicial sims and studies compared to what Greg houses here with CDC.
