I'm on a steep learning curve with REEs and so what I am about to say could be wrong.
This article misses the point with me so far as Pek is concerned. Pek doesn't have ion-adsorption clays, does it. It has bastnasite and which is not clay.The article is mainly about RE-bearing clay.
Bastnasite is better that monazite too isn't it? and because it has lower radiation worries.
