There is reference elsewhere to the tranlucency in the amorphous silicon (ie. traditional Si PV Tech) windows referred to being due to "cuts"...be interesting to know if they have used a laser to make micro slashes in the sandwich panel...

Anyway, any PV window is a good thing, even if they are using a technology that is quickly going out of date...
