As those panels are just silicon pv with slots in them and apparently extremely expensive , seems like a desperate attempt to match the promise of DSC technology and hence compete with DSC . Without any of the real benefits ( low cost, efficiency in any light level, or angle, low embedded energy etc) it seems rather like clutching at straws. I would consider this product confirmation that Silicon PV is on the way out and DSC's time is coming sooner than later.
