The important part for Lumos, or any other diagnostics company is the POC real estate as Doug explained at the investors briefing in Melbourne and presumably repeated in Sydney.
Whoever can get their diagnostic device in place at POC will be winners, hence why the device that LDX is aiming to use for the Hologic fetal fibronectin test. The aim is for that device to be expanded to incorporate use with other Hologic tests and presumably to other health diagnostic tests.
