Netcomm I believe is one of many brands in the adsl hardware market. D-Link is well established mid priced brand and has been around for a while, quite a cheaper option than Netcomm for ADSL hardware. For example, a USB/Ethernet Combo ADSL Model from D-Link is around $200, a wireless one is $519.
