The AGM vote outcome was rare. The retail vote counted for something! - It is a good thing. Count that as a positive for LRV and also it's management.
The take away message from that AGM result is the management tabled something the SHs did not like - the SHs spoke - the management listened - the system/process worked, in this instance. Nothing more or nothing less could be taken from it.
On a different hypothetical... Had in the 2024 AGM they tabled the same and asked that their performance renumeration would be tied to a >1000% increase in SP in 12-months, would as many SHs objected to it? Would it still have been considered "thuggery" or "shafting retail" as you put it.
