fin,
I get your points on MMN and they are all valid, but a liitle part of me is reminded of another company with similar bad performance which I held for a few years - Lihir Gold - big Au deposit, spents heaps for years on plant problems and infrastucture, bad news almost every time an announcement was made.
Had to buy back hedges and generally never made much money out of its operation.
During the time I bought and sold and sometimes held I watched the SP go from around $0.95 to $4.00.
Sometimes the truth doesnt get in the way of a rising SP.
Your analysis of MMN may be flawless but I cant help but see similarities between the 2 and to me that means that logic and flawless analysis may just get pushed in favour of panic at not being in as the SP goes through the roof due to a rising Ag price.
I'm also a firm believer that only fear and greed fundamentally drive the market and if there is the possibility of making money, then watch out
I may be wrong, but I'm willing to gamble my hard earned to find out.
